India: Realm of the Tiger

A 12 day adventure focusing on two of India's foremost National Parks – Bandhavgarh and Kanha – maximising our opportunities to photograph Bengal Tigers in the wild during a total of 14 game drives, and enjoying a variety of other wildlife including Leopards, Sloth Bears, Asian Hunting Dogs and many species of colourful birds

The Indian sub-continent offers a series of unique habitats containing a wonderful range of wildlife, including the enigmatic Bengal Tiger. This 12 day tour concentrates on Bandhavgarh and Kanha National Parks, currently India’s best reserves for seeing Tigers. Our itinerary includes 14 games drives, supported by an expert local naturalist, to maximise our opportunities of seeing this enigmatic Big Cat in its natural environment.

On past trips we have frequently seen more than ten individual Tigers. Unlike many similar tours to India we take advantage of domestic flights rather than enduring long, tiring train journeys to reach the Parks. Our policy of having only three group members in each vehicle will be attractive to keen photographers who will recognise that the increased space and easier maneuverability with photographic equipment, will allow them more flexibility to capture stunning images of the wildlife.
