Celebrating the Royal Air Force at 100

2 Jul 2018

On 10th June 2018 we attended a wonderful RAF Cosford Airshow in celebration of the Royal Air Force's first 100 years. Full credit must be given to the organisers for presenting a first class event with a full and varied flying display and an amazing array of static aircraft covering the RAF's history, as well as providing such wonderful weather!

The bright sun and hazy skies with a crowdline facing south introduced some photographic challenges but there was plenty of time and opportunities to overcome these during the six hour flying display.
The flying programme mostly comprised aircraft that had served or were currently serving with the RAF and they were generally displayed in chronological order.
